Job Overview
He or she will carry out a variety of tasks that ensure the hotel premises are consistently clean, organized, and well-maintained, thereby contributing to a welcoming and positive guest experience.
NOTE: Please Hotel is in Del Mar - NO trolley access
Responsibilities
- Helps clean hallways, elevators, stairways, and other work areas.
- Moves/arranges furniture and dusts/polishes furniture, metalwork and equipment.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors, using brooms and mops and powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
- May clean walls, ceiling, and woodwork; washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
Education and Experience
- 6 months of previous hotel / resort experience preferred
- Must have flexibility of schedules, able to work AM, PM, Weekends and Holidays
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs unassisted
Pay Rate: $19.00/ hour
