What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Attendant/Housekeeping position at Marriott Del Mar?
Overview
As our Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests performing these tasks to the highest standards.
PLEASE NOTE: Hotel is located in Del Mar, close to the 5 freeway, but NOT close to public transportation.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
- Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Skills
- Must have cleaning experience, Hotel/Resort experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices related to guest services.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must have flexibility of schedules to include working weekends and holidays
Pay is $20/Hour
