What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer, PM Shift position at Marriott Del Mar?
Our PM Security Officer will patrol 2 hotel premises regularly to maintain order, enforce policies and regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public rooms, confer with management, interview guests and employees to investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.
- Patrol public areas to detect unsafe conditions and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.
- Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports.
- Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
- May enter and check rooms for guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions and to seize any remaining personal property.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have 1 year of Security Officer Experience, Hotel Experience highly preferred
Licenses/Certifications
- Security Office Guard Card Certification required
- First Aide / CPR certification required
Rate of Pay: $21//Hourly
