Your Focus
- Train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with our core values.
- Screen job applicants, and hire new employees (in the event housekeeping associates are our employees.)
- Train staff to clean rooms in an efficient manner according to established standards or partner with external vendors to ensure staff is trained properly.
- Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction.
- Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to associates.
- On occasion, clean rooms or assist staff with cleaning rooms.
- Address associate performance and behavior concerns by either direct intervention with our associates or through vendors.
- Supervise laundry employees, if applicable.
- Prepare work schedules for associates or provide vendors with anticipated occupancy to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.

- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Your Background and Skills
- High School diploma preferred.
- Previous hotel experience required.
- Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by providing and promoting an environment of long-term recovery. You will partner with the Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; or involving housekeeping experience; or qualified to perform the duties with no relevant experience, and at least 60 days through which to complete required experience.
- Housekeeping experience and or cleaning in licensed setting (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Providing direct care to our residents: housekeeping, laundry, dining services, and medication administration.
- Providing clinical oversight of all aspects of client care including medication compliance, treatment planning, continuity of care, and safety.
- Ensuring all staff is assigned duties based on expertise, experience, and skill level.
- Ensuring routine and predictable patterns are established in areas such as staffing, timings, procedures, and shifts.
- Ensuring clients are seen within the confines of the facility at their own request or based on their preferences.
- Providing an educational approach to planning schedules for staff including hours, shifts, meals/restrictions, etc.
- Implementing new schedules based on performance reviews and staff availability.
- Housekeeping inspections, laundry audits, counting cash, inventory inventory…the list goes on and on.
