Casual Steward and Dishwasher
The Casual Steward and Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various kitchen areas, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring proper sanitation of dishes and cooking tools. This part-time position involves receiving and storing deliveries, rotating stock, and adhering to safety and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Receive and store deliveries, including perishables.
- Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue.
- Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware.
- Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Protect company assets.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
