Job Description
The Culinary Expert is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality meals while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience in a fine dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down workstations
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare foods
- Prepare cold food and monitor food quality while preparing food
- Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
