In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. Your responsibilities will include serving food and beverages, answering questions about menu items, and working closely with the kitchen to deliver seamless service. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to health and safety standards, and participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge.
Main Responsibilities:
* Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner
* Set tables according to type of event and service standards
* Answer questions on menu selections and provide recommendations
* Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
* Ensure accuracy when recording transactions in the MICROS system
* Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
* Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
* Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* At least 1 year of related work experience preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
