Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Team Member to join our team at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort. As a member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the dining area, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities:
* Provide professional and courteous service to all guests
* Clean and set up tables, ensure proper safety standards, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Serve water, bread, and coffee, and greet guests by name whenever possible
* Stack trays properly, complete closing duties, and inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use
* Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, protect company assets, and welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* No related work experience necessary
* Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time, move objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
