Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook I to join our culinary team at Renaissance Austin Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
- Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- Maintain food logs and track inventory levels
- Prepare cold foods and assist with food preparation as needed
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless kitchen operations
Requirements:
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
