We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Engineer III to join our team at JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort. As a key member of our hotel's maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, while providing excellent customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to guest repair requests and perform maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment
• Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
• Display advanced ability to read standard blue prints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing and HVAC
• Display above average engineering operations skills and strong general mechanical ability
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
• Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
