POSITION SUMMARY
As a Mid-Level Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of our resort through hands-on repair and preventive maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities will include :
- Responding to and resolving guest repair requests efficiently and courteously.
- Performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Carrying out visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines.
- Maintaining an organized inventory and requisitioning supplies as necessary.
- Communicating effectively with team members about daily activities and any issues that arise.
- Exhibiting strong skills in various maintenance categories : air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and general building management.
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs.
- Conducting basic plumbing and electrical repairs, including troubleshooting equipment and maintaining general facility upkeep.
- Training and mentoring junior engineers as needed.
- Performing Engineer on Duty responsibilities and rounds.
To excel in this role, you should be comfortable lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, have a valid Driver's License, and possess Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification. A high school diploma or GED, along with vocational or technical training, is preferred, along with at least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience.
You will also be expected to adhere to company safety policies, maintain professional appearance, and engage positively with guests and team members.
