Job Summary

This is a part-time, overnight shift position that requires working on call. The role involves testing communications equipment, delivering items to guest rooms, and providing excellent customer service.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest requests are fulfilled promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Test communications equipment to ensure it is functioning properly
• Deliver items such as rollaway beds, refrigerators, extra towels, and toiletries to guest rooms
• Provide complimentary items such as toothpaste, razors, and shampoo to guests
• Deliver messages, mail, faxes, packages, flowers, and other sundry items to guest rooms
• Assemble orders to go and deliver food, beverages, or other amenities
• Follow company policies and procedures, report accidents and injuries, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and thank them with genuine appreciation

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• No related work experience necessary
• No supervisory experience required
