Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist On Call to join our team at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. As a member of our spa team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional massage services to guests using props and/or products.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and modalities. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products.
- Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications before beginning service.
- Keep up-to-date with current techniques and modalities related to your field of work.
- Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
- Arrange workstation, treatment room, and/or drapes.
- Frequently check with guest to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout service.
- Promote and sell spa/salon services including retail offerings related to the Spa.
- Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift.
Requirements
- State or Regional Massage License
- At least 1 year of related work experience
