JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in hotel management and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
Duties:
- Assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
- Ensure that all guest requests and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Manage and train hotel staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assist with budgeting and financial management, including monitoring expenses and revenue.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient operations and seamless guest experiences.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Assist with night audit duties as needed.
- Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of local attractions, events, and amenities to provide recommendations to guests.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual abilities are highly desired.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations
- Proficiency in hotel management software systems
- Knowledge of human resources practices and procedures
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
- Knowledge of phone systems and phone etiquette
