Job Description
This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Hill Top Hospitality. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.
We are looking for a dedicated and committed Bartender to assist our team in exceeding guest expectations and supporting property-wide initiatives.
The Bartender will play a key role in preparing and serving draft beer, wine, specialty coffee, other beverages, and select food items to patrons. Key duties include:
Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages as requested by customers
Describing product details to customers
Receiving and processing customer payments
Serving prepared foods and baked goods including sandwiches, biscotti, muffins, or bagels
Cleaning and sanitizing all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas
Cleaning and sanitizing service and seating areas
Ensuring proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating systems
Stocking supplies or retail products; inventory, ordering, or receiving products as directed
Performing other related duties as assigned by management
About You:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices
Good memory to manage multiple orders simultaneously and recall frequent patron preferences
Availability to work flexible shifts covering 2:00pm-11:00pm Mon-Sat and 4:00pm-10:00pm on Sun
Education and Experience:
Must successfully complete training in food preparation, food service skills, and customer service procedures
At least one year of experience with the hotel is preferred
