Additional Information : This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Pyramid Global Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
The Event Manager plans and coordinates meetings while maximizing the banquet space.
This position provides quality, value-added, professional service that exceeds our guests' expectations with a passion for excellence. The primary function of this role is to work directly with clients to detail their events. The individual needs to have a professional appearance and warm, accommodating, confident, enthusiastic and motivating personality. This position can work from home 1 day per week, depending on business needs.
Job Requirements :
Ability to analyze client needs and detail client requests.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work under time pressure.
Demonstrated ability to work with maximum efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail.
Must have experience in all Microsoft Office and industry relevant Sales systems. CI / TY experience is preferred
Ability to work effectively in Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets regularly
Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with a team.
Ability to exercise sound logic and judgment in evaluating situations and utilizing appropriate resources.
Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
24 / hour plus 5 hours / week guaranteed overtime - $59,300 / year
