Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, and garnishes.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or requests.
- Assist with catering events or banquets as needed, ensuring all beverage-related needs are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Experience with POS systems for efficient order processing.
- Background in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food safety practices.
- Strong cash handling skills to manage payments accurately.
- Familiarity with catering services and banquet operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques for craft beers is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
