Waterview Hospitality is seeking energetic, service-oriented Front Desk Agent to join the team at our 109 room Marriott TownePlace Suites, Ironton, OH! Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greet & tend to guests with a warm, friendly, positive attitude
Guest Check-In and Check-Out
PMS Operations (WinPM will be trained)
Cash and Credit Card /Debit Card Transactions
Switchboard Operation and telephone etiquette
Front Office Emergency/Security Procedures
Reservations - Both Guest Rooms & Meeting Rooms
Assist Manager with Administrative Tasks and other duties as assigned by
the General Manager or FD Supervisor
- Clean the Front Desk and Lobby Area Daily*
Assist with Breakfast Bar if necessary / monitor cleanliness of bar and tables
Minor Decision Making including the 100% Guarantee program
Book group room blocks – Take Group reservations
Sales of Guest rooms with new arrivals and phone inquiries
Follow all Policies & Procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
Must be in neat, clean uniform w/ name tag, Trip Rewards tag
Operate the laundry as directed
Maintain a professional attitude to all Guests, associates, and vendors
Flexible schedule and open availability are necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Fluent verbal and written communications in proper English. (Spanish, if possible)
Basic Math
Hand Writing
Computer Skills / Keyboard/Typing skills
Operate a 10-key Calculator
Hospitable, Civil Contact with the Public
Ability to Work Independently, with little or no Supervision
Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
Night Audit Basic accounting skills/training

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
