What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge/ Club Lounge Attendant position at Marriott?
The purpose of the Concierge/ Club Lounge Attendant is to be responsible for the daily operation and preparation of the Concierge Lounge, ensuring guest services to all VIP customers, and serving food and beverage items to VIP customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner.
- Maintain Hotel Language to enhance sales and overall guest experience.
- Answers inquiries, offers suggestions, and provides descriptive literature pertaining to activities on and off property.
- Works on property with front of the house departments, maintaining a well established relationship to inform and implement guests' requests.
- Follows forecast determining arrivals of transient guests and to book and up sell dining and all amenities on property. Maintain prior call and amenity logs in a clear concise manner.
- Ensure all guest special requests and amenities are clearly noted on the guest reservation folder in the reservations system.
- Confirm all amenities and special requests have been communicated prior to guest arrival.
- Maintain amenity inventory and order supplies when needed with approval from manager.
- Handles requests from General Manager, Directors, Sales and Event Planning Managers for VIP's such as amenity gifts, property tours, etc.
