Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Coordinator to join our team under the direction of the Production Leader. The successful candidate will create and execute plans to accelerate building people capability, training, coaching, and mentoring operators to deliver daily and 90-day production plans.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of manufacturing experience operating a variety of machines, standing on a concrete floor, wearing proper personal protective equipment, and possessing OSHA certification for forklift assignments.
The Production Coordinator will operate and manage the operations of all production equipment in multiple areas within a factory, complete necessary training to become an Autonomous Maintenance Coach, and possess advanced skills through job-related training and work experience.
Responsibilities include working directly with the Production Leader to create daily and weekly production plans, supporting the execution of plans focused on associate capability and flawless execution, building operator capability, problem-solving, and technical understanding across teams and shifts.
The Production Coordinator will also perform duties in the absence of the Production Leader, demonstrate leadership behaviors, provide guidance and training on Autonomous Maintenance and Daily Management Systems, drive loss elimination, recommend solutions based on loss data analysis, and participate in planned production stops.
