We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to support the management and execution of all workflows for a major CPG client. We require 4-6 years of previous marketing or agency experience, in addition to any internship experience. Candidates must reside in a commutable distance from our offices in Detroit, Chicago or Atlanta.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compensation Range: $59,850 - $90,620 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver projects on time and on budget, keep the internal teams on track with their work.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- A master at creating timelines and deadlines and managing expectations of team members when milestones may not be hit (and why!).
- Approach and manage partnership relationships with other manufacturers or properties
- Oversee the implementation of client key projects
- Demonstrate persuasive written and oral communication, while building strong working relationships
- Maintain accurate and updated records of all feedback from major stakeholders on creative elements
- Present projects to senior management that positively impact client dynamics
- Manage workflow and capacity across cross-functional teams
- Work directly with other functions (Planning, Creative, Account Service, Channel, Finance, Production) and account executives to manage timing of agency deliverables
- Quality control and trouble-shoot issues
- Training and mentorship of team
- Internal systems expert (Asana, Netsuite, for example)
- May assist in writing, implementing and training of new processes
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field
- 5 years of marketing or advertising experience, preferably agency experience in retailer promotions
- Strategic thinking in the development of Shopper Marketing programs and management of day to day business
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail
- Sound decision-making skills based in agency, client, and industry knowledge.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage time, adhere to strict timelines and work well under pressure
