We are seeking a Software Engineering Director to lead and contribute to our team, driving technical solutions and innovation using C#/.net core, React, and SQL Server, hosted in Microsoft Azure. This role is a blend of technical leadership, management, and hands-on contribution. As a key member of our engineering team, you will guide the architecture and development of applications, mentor engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software. This role offers the opportunity to shape both technology and people within a dynamic, growth-focused environment. This position is required to reside in the Lehi, UT area for regular in-office meetings.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, project timelines, and deliverables.
- Maintain high coding standards and oversee code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Act as an individual contributor as needed, diving deep into code to support critical project milestones.
- Ensure the successful deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in Azure.
- Drive innovation and efficiency within the team by identifying and implementing new technologies and processes.
- Provide leadership in solving complex technical challenges and removing roadblocks for the team.
- Regularly review costs and security position
- Reports to VP Software Engineering
- Proven experience in software engineering leadership roles.
- Expertise in C#/.net core, React, and SQL Server , with a strong understanding of modern development frameworks and practices.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to balance managerial responsibilities with technical contributions.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
