Job Description:

The Affiliate Demand Planner manages long and short term forecasts at the item/brand/category level. The planner will use a variety of data sources including consumption trends, sales promotional data, marketing new product plans, and JDA statistical models to create a demand signal to drive supply chain and S&OP. The monthly goal is to deliver an accurate and cross-functionally aligned rolling demand plan. A key responsibility of the Brand Demand Planner is to develop, document, update and challenge the assumptions supporting the demand plan.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience which could include marketing, sales planning, production scheduling/operations planning, and/or demand planning & forecasting required
• Prior experience working with a vendor or retailor in a similar function or setting.
• Experience using forecasting systems and tools such as JDA/Manugistics and or similar ERP/supply chain systems
• Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical experience using Excel or PowerPoint
• Demonstrated experience of delivering effective presentation using qualitative and quantitative data to influence leadership behaviors and decisions

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Lead monthly demand meetings with the appropriate Brand and Category teams to ensure assumptions are validated and unresolved issues are escalated appropriately
• Influence key business partners by leveraging data to develop the best in class forecast
• Maintain JDA to deliver an accurate Item/DC level forecast for Supply Chain
• Analyze total brand portfolio and leverage market intelligence to determine base business impact
• Monitor shipment performance versus the item level forecast and determine root-cause to improve accuracy
• Perform special projects as assigned by the Senior Demand Planning Manager
• Participate/lead continuous improvement projects and problem solving cards, as it relates to forecasting
• Prepare for ad-hoc support of the Brand Demand Planning manager for the demand management review meeting to explain and detail consensus plan and make any final updates based on outcome of S&OP process.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).
