Finance Manager, Digital Transformation

Job Description:

This is a project based role (2 years) will act as Finance Business Partner to the Digital Technologies organization in support of the transformational projects.

This includes but is not limited to (i) financial guidance on project development, (ii) financial planning, analysis and development of insights (ii) stakeholder, risk and investment management support. The job holder is expected to become an expert in Digital Technologies Finance and will also need superior problem-solving skills, strong technical/functional skills & business acumen.

This role will require agility to design, develop and adjust based upon the demand within the Pet Nutrition Digital Technologies Transformation program. This is an unknown territory and agility to adjust based upon learnings and increased knowledge is paramount.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• MBA in Finance CPA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA (asset).
• 5 years previous experience in Finance, Accounting or Finance Business Partner roles (Supply/Demand).
• Strong financial background and understanding of business shape drivers and broad commercial landscape.
• Previous project work experience and working in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to Influence senior leaders, demonstrate strong communication skills, customer focus and dealing with ambiguity.
• Digital Tools: SAP/Digital Visualization Tools: PowerBI (asset).
• Transformation or Digital Technologies Finance Experience (asset).
  
  

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Business partner Digital Technologies and Transformation S&F team ensuring successful project creation which includes guidance to the team on governance process, transparent and compliant accounting, insightful reporting & analysis.
• Work with Digital Technologies to understand digital development activities, how they drive cost and provide analysis to support strategic recommendations and future planning (AEP, IVCP).
• Ensure period close process is timely and accurate, deliver period financial reporting of Digital Technologies costs with insightful analysis that enable Digital Technologies Program Leads, PM and PN Transformation Office to act and make decisions.
• Ensure all TIGG reporting requirements are complete and on-time.
• Provide training on Transformation, Digital Technologies Finance, Transformation Policy and governance processes as needed.
• Ensure financial operations are optimized, modern, digitally enabled and future focused by challenging existing processes, defining new and more efficient solutions and applying best practices.
