The Regional Sales Director is responsible for all aspects of the sales function within the PRO business unit and member of the North American PRO Leadership Team. This role is both externally customer facing (supporting three Regional Sales Manager) while also being internally focused (Driving qualified recommendation, Sales Enablement, Category Insights) supporting the field sales and working collaboratively cross functionally with Marketing, Finance, Scientific Affairs, and Supply) The Regional Sales also plays a critical role in the S&OP process supporting the various stages as well as working directly with finance to manage/track/measure various trade/CP&A/outside overhead budgets.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the below range, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the position and employee’s work schedule). Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans then in effect, and depending on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule), eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents, and may be eligible to take up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Employees will also receive the following paid-time off (which may be prorated based on start date and the employee’s work schedule): 120 hours of vacation per year, paid sick time for eligible Associates of 100% pay continuation for a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year, and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year that include both fixed and flexible holidays.

What are we looking for:
- 8 years Sales Experience, preferably in Account Management
- 5 years people Management experience, preferably at a Sr. Level
- University Degree or College diploma in related field
- Cross functional experience in marketing, category management or revenue management is an asset
Sales Strategy:
- Lead development and implementation of the sales strategy that transforms the entire business with a focus on long term sustainable growth
- Effectively anticipates future consequences, trends and competitive landscape accurately to prepare & address current and future concerns from external partners
- Work with internal sales operations team to develop plans that will drive sustainable long-term growth
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to support field sales with delivering operating plan through field level tools, sales enablement, recommendation growth, technology and other elements
- Coordinating In market executions to support strategic focus areas to deploy activations with a focus on ROI and overall strategic priorities
- Support Regional Sales Managers in negotiations/management/delivery of overall operating plan while ensuring long term growth
- Attend customer meetings/top-to-tops (e.g. quarterly) and as needed
- Manage & maintain large sponsorships/partnerships and translate to business objectives
- Responsibly managing overall trade & CP&A budgets within operating plan expectations
- Support sales operations & planning to ensure execution In field In accordance to operating plan
- Continuously drive for Internal efficiencies around sales enablement to support field teams
- Ensure adherence to all Internal controls while also demonstrating Guardian Mindset
- Key liaison with finance business partner and monitoring overall budgets (e.g. trade/CP&A/outside overheads)
- Oversees and continually optimize PRO Rewards programs ensuring deployment, execution, and good governance
- Supporting regular/adhoc business analysis as needed to ensure operating plan delivery
- Works with direct reports to develop their understanding and ownership of business segments plans, priorities and sales strategic objectives
- Ensure PDP/Development plans are In place while supporting associates with career progression
- Support overall pillar with S&OP process and other demand related forums
- Voice of the pillar in terms of understanding and taking action to ensure overall business objectives are met
- Provide insight and visibility to short/long term forecasting while working closely with Marketing/Supply/Finance
- Adhere to applicable Quality and Food Safety Policies and Quality Management System requirements to ensure compliance to MARS standards.
