As a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Mars you will partner closely with the Global Strategic Sourcing Director and Buyers to drive development & implementation of sub-category buying strategies and co-pilot optimization of resources. You’ll manage both regional and global initiatives by leveraging supplier relationships, while also driving standardization and automation. Ownership of sub-category spend on a global basis will be key, as will heavy x-functional collaboration and close partnership with key stakeholders.

Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate). What are we looking for?
- 7 years of procurement experience.
- A passion for developing strong relationships with supplier and cross functional stakeholders both domestically and internationally.
- Experience in Rice/Grain sourcing is a bonus
- Bachelors degree at a minimum.
- You will recommend and implement supply base strategy, including assessing and developing suppliers.
- Benchmarking, leading RFP activity and driving the qualification/implantation of new suppliers.
- You will also manage supplier governance, including supplier performance auditing.
- Direct oversight of ($100m) in spend.
