What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carts FMC position at Marsden Services?
Job Duties:
The FMC Freight Management Coordinator check truck drivers in or out while maintaining truckers yard via required app.
Ensures standards for service quality, equipment, safety and performance are maintained and that cost-effective resources are used to maximize service standards
Implement processes and structure in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Alerts key stakeholder(s) of cost and labor over run. Makes recommendations and implements solutions
Hires, trains, develops and appraises staff effectively. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with Company policy. Consults with Human Resources as appropriate
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Pre-employment drug screen is required (we do not test for THC)
A background check is required
Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
Must be able to be on feet for a 10 hour shift
For safety reasons, basic English proficiency is required
