Job Duties
The FMC Freight Management Coordinator check truck drivers in or out while maintaining truckers yard via required app.
- Ensures standards for service quality, equipment, safety and performance are maintained and that cost-effective resources are used to maximize service standards
- Implement processes and structure in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
- Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Alerts key stakeholder(s) of cost and labor over run. Makes recommendations and implements solutions
- Hires, trains, develops and appraises staff effectively. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with Company policy. Consults with Human Resources as appropriate
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Pre-employment drug screen is required (we do not test for THC)
- A background check is required
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
- Must be able to be on feet for a 10 hour shift
- For safety reasons, basic English proficiency is required
