Position Summary: To operate government vehicles to transport children to and from the center and medical appointments, as well as proctoring the education environment throughout the school day for ratio purposes.

- Transport clients inside and outside of the facility to designated areas in a punctual and timely manner.
- Routinely complies with the standards set forth by CARF and HIPAA.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport passenger to designated locations.
- Use of appropriate car seats for occupants under 8-years of age and/or under 4 feet 9 inches tall.
- Use of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that could impair abilities before or while driving is prohibited.
- Maintain compliance with the state of California Wireless Communications Device Law.
- Adherence to all road safety and traffic signals.
- Use of seat belts within California laws and regulations.
- Maintain compliance with predetermined transportation schedules as defined by the Assistant Program Director.
- Transporters will share their location by text from their work iPhones with the Assistant Program Director.
- Transporters work cell phones may be turn off after hours to ensure privacy of personal whereabouts when not operating government vehicles.
- Transporters will notify the Assistant Program Director at the start and finish of each daily shift.
- Function as proctors for the classrooms during the education hours.
- Assist with lunch coverage for children, as scheduled by the Assistant Program Director.
- Work other than that which is relative to the performance of one's work responsibilities, and the mission of the company, is prohibit.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures is not optional.
- Use of government vehicles for personal reasons is prohibited.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
Mathematical Ability: Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10's and 100's. Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Preferred Education/ Experience/ Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- 1 years’ experience with children
- Possession of a valid State driver's license.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Attainment of at least 21 years of age.
