We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career Consulting team at Mercer. This role will be based in Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We Will Count On You To

• Follow project plans and draft deliverables (including benefits guides, employee newsletters, job aids, and presentations) to help complete communication and change management projects on time
• Work with colleagues across various Mercer groups to ensure the technical accuracy of communication and change management deliverables 
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop client recommendations 
• Research trends and best practices to support the development of creative communication and change strategies that serve unique client needs
  
  

What You Need To Have

• Progress toward a bachelor's degree  
• Status as a currently enrolled student; candidates should have an expected graduation date in the Fall of 2025 or Spring 2026
• Strong academic achievement demonstrated through rigorous course work, and the ability to successfully balance extra-curricular activities
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required

• Strong writing skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office— specifically Word and PowerPoint 
• Knowledge of written and visual communication and how to tailor content based on the audience and channel
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills  
• Intellectual curiosity; seeking opportunities to develop new skills and apply critical thinking to solve problems 
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate with others in a skillful and engaging manner 
• Flexibility to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing client needs

The applicable hourly rate for this role is $27/hour.
