Job Description
Aircraft Mechanic
The Aircraft Mechanic performs test, repair, installation, and modification on a variety of aircraft systems and structures.
General duties include:
- Maintain, repair, and modify components including but not limited to structural, flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components;
- Able to perform a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on turboprop and piston multi-engine aircraft.
- Responsible for clear, concise and accurate reports in logs, inspection reports, and production documents.
Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate is required;
- Working knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components;
- Familiar with CFR parts 21 and 145;
- Able to read and understand approved manuals, Illustrated Parts Breakdowns, Airworthy Directives, Service Bulletins, and other technical service documentation;
- Working knowledge of 100 hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures set forth
- in FAR 43;
- 10 years aviation experience;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Successful candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents.
