Marsh Furniture Company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist with strong recruiter experience to join our team in providing excellent service to our 500 amazing employees. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving recruitment efforts while also handling various HR functions, including employee benefits administration, payroll and compliance. The HR Generalist will be a trusted partner to employees and management, ensuring the efficient operation of HR services while promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Recruiting for all open positions including manufacturing and office. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role is complex yet rewarding if you are able to multi-task, provide clear responses and assistance.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
o Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommending candidates for various roles across the organization.
o Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and provide guidance on job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate selection.
o Utilize a variety of recruiting channels, including job boards, social media, and networking, to attract top talent.
o Conduct initial candidate assessments and ensure alignment with company culture and values.
o Oversee the interview process, provide interview feedback, and maintain a positive candidate experience.
- Employee Engagement:
o Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in the development of strategies to improve workplace satisfaction.
- HR Administration & Compliance:
o Administer all onboarding for new hires, ensuring they receive all necessary documentation and training.
o Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
o Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
o Assist with the implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Training & Development:
o Support employee training and development programs to enhance skills and promote career growth.
o Assist in the coordination of workshops, seminars, and other learning initiatives.
- HR Reporting & Metrics:
o Maintain and track key HR metrics such as turnover, time-to-fill, and employee satisfaction.
o Assist in preparing HR reports for senior management and provide insights on workforce trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is required.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
