What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Lead / Lifeguard position at Marsh Landing Country Club?
We are seeking experienced, responsible, and enthusiastic Summer Camp Lead / Lifeguard for a full-time seasonal role. As a summer camp lead, you will play an essential role in assisting the youth director in the day-to-day summer camp.
As a lifeguard, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our pool patrons. This position requires attention to detail, strong safety awareness, and dedication to maintaining a welcoming environment. Lifeguards must be prepared to respond swiftly to emergencies, keep the pool and surrounding areas clean, and perform other tasks as needed.
Responsibilities :
General Lead Duties :
- Greet members and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Respond to member questions by providing correct information and answering the telephone in a professional manner.
- Assist with set-up, decorations and safety checks before each activity.
- Host and engage children and families in activities, including pool activities, events, and camps.
- Assist parents in signing in and out and checking identification.
- Be knowledgeable and comply, at all times, with the club’s standards, policies, and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
- Ensure knowledge of all children’s allergies and special needs.
- Supervise children and use good judgment in our care.
- Adhere to all rules regarding younger members.
- Assists with handling kids’ meals
- Communicate effectively and inform the Youth Director of any unforeseen circumstances.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety of all spaces.
- Perform other duties as assigned by managers
