A day in the life.
As our Placement Specialist on the Business Insurance (Commercial Lines) team, you’ll be responsible for marketing business insurance coverage to online insurers. This position is crucial for securing the optimal combination of price, coverage, and services for both new and renewal Business Insurance clients through various online carrier platforms. The job requires providing support to internal colleagues, including Sales Executives and Account Executives, by managing a shared mailbox for assignments and inquiries. The role involves rating and underwriting submissions using various carrier platforms, obtaining Insurance Service Office Loss Cost Quotes, and generating detailed reports for accurate building valuations and Workers Compensation experience modifications.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills :
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Active and compliant Property and Casualty insurance license (2-20 Florida license), or a 4-40 Florida license
- A minimum two years of experience in Business Insurance within an insurance agency
- Online carrier rating or underwriting experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Citizens, FWCJUA, NFIP, Marshall & Swift, Verisk, and Zywave
