Leasing Associate
The leasing associate is responsible for providing superior customer service by being readily available to provide effective and efficient service to all prospects, residents and vendors. This team member establishes "First Impression" that is perceived by anyone calling or visiting. The leasing consultant should also work effectively and efficiently in supporting the Property Manager and Leasing Team with office duties necessary to the daily successful operation of the business. Some responsibilities of the leasing consultant include the following:
- Performing all tasks related to renting apartment homes to include generating traffic and responding to telephone and internet inquiries.
- Greeting prospective residents and touring throughout the property, qualifying and closing the sale by obtaining a rental application and a deposit.
- Preparing lease documentation and addendum paperwork.
- Completing move-in paperwork and procedures with new residents.
- Participating in planning, coordinating and attending resident functions.
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Qualifications Include:
- 2-3 years’ experience in residential property management preferred, will consider a candidate with strong sales/marketing and customer service background with proven track record of success.
- Interpersonal and listening skills.
- Marketing knowledge and abilities.
- Computer and technical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- NAA Designation a plus.
- Leasing Assosiates are required to provide their own transportation between properties.
- Valid driver’s license, criminal background check, drug testing and references required.
Saturday work required on a rotation basis.
