Complex Liability Consultant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Complex Liability Consulting team at Marsh. This role will be based in any US city where a Marsh office is located. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in office.

Complex Liability Consultant

Join the Complex Liability Consulting practice of Marsh Advisory, where we provide expert solutions for mass tort and complex liability issues. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to implement strategic plans that optimize clients’ insurance recovery for high-value claims, including toxic torts, environmental issues, and more.

We will count on you to:

• Direct analysis of client needs, develop project outlines, and recommend suitable approaches.

• Utilize facilitative and diagnostic skills to assist clients in articulating complex problems.

• Conduct insurance archaeology for legacy policies and actively uncover client concerns.

• Develop project requirements and work plans within your technical area.

• Maintain client confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies.

What you need to have:

• 5 years of relevant experience at an insurer, third-party administrator, insurance archaeology firm, and/or law firm.

• Experience with long-tail and emerging coverage issues and/or insurance archaeology.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Juris Doctorate and/or Advanced Insurance Designations (CPCU, SCLA) are a plus.
