The team
The Emerging Risks Group addresses our clients most pressing and cutting-edge risks to their operations. The Vice President position, Engagement Lead, is a role that will offer the opportunity to advise Marsh’s largest clients while enabling personal and professional growth. The Emerging Risks Group connects risks with strategy practice enabling our clients to better anticipate, measure, and manage risks and shocks across their value chain. Our team members serve as trusted, strategic risk advisors to our clients, working with them to make clear data-driven choices about managing risk in order to drive growth and enterprise value through delivery of deep industry expertise, rigorous analytical capabilities and a pragmatic approach to solve our client’s most complex business and risk challenges.
- Identify risk to growth and value creation strategies (both insurable and non-insurable losses)
- Evaluate the appropriate business models, operating models, and capabilities to support their strategic vision and de-risk their operating environment
- Address both operational and strategic risks to our clients’ operating models
- Maximize the ROI on risk capital
What you will need to have
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of relevant consulting or industry experience
- Ability to build a consulting project plan
- Experience assessing strategy and making recommendations to clients
- Experience working independently with minimal guidance
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
What makes you stand out?
- Ability to manage multiple projects and processes and meet deadlines while working in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree business-related field or STEM field
- General understanding of how to work with analytical teams
- Ability to assess client processes and develop strategies for improvement including previous hands on experience with value stream mapping and exposure to predictive modeling
- Comfort in interacting with Client’s Senior Management, Risk Management, Treasury and “C” suite
