Marsh & McLennan Shared Services LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the Phoenix, AZ office (A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policy)

Lead Applications Developer

We will count on you to:

Envision and develop a library of reusable digital components aimed at reducing time to market and or continually enhancing customer experiences across channels. Develop advanced web components and portals utilizing the latest Angular web frameworks to ensure an intuitive end-user experience. Drive significant technological changes using AWS cloud-native architecture patterns distributed environment. Foster a culture shift in technology towards a truly Agile team that is self-organizing, embraces DevOps, implements end to end automation, and innovation driven by AI. Collaborate with Marsh Digital Labs, Platform, and Development teams on new/existing product development opportunities. Continuously learn about emerging technologies and help keep the entire group abreast of industry developments and evolving best practices.

What you need to have:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and eight (8) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of experience must include: Using Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Redis, PL/SQL and NoSQL databases; Responsible for REST API design and implementation; Managing and securing sensitive data and credentials using HashiCorp Vault for enhanced data protection and access control; Responsible for complex software product delivery in an Agile environment; Responsible for API Management systems, including Apigee; Leveraging continuous integration and robust build/test automation, with a preference for cross platform stacks and containerization, including Jira, Git, and Jenkins; and Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architecture, and implement best practices for software development. 10% domestic and international travel required.
