There are multiple jobs available. Full-time Dep. Jailer includes all the points below and Part-time would be a Deputy Jailer with Control Room-Only responsibilities.
Applicants will be required to past a pre-employment physical and drug screen; random drug screens are to be expected throughout employment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to...
- Booking and Releasing inmates through a Jail management system
- Unclothed and clothed searches of inmates
- Movement of inmates inside and outside of Jail
- Treat prisoners in a fair, impartial manner
- Inmate counts
- Inmate and facility surveillance
- Passing of medication
- Passing of meals
- Security and safety inspections
- Minor medical treatment
- Initial mental health treatment
- Address inmate situations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
