Job Description
Potts Camp School is seeking an experienced and proven volleyball coach that teaches, plans, prepares, and organizes the program. The volleyball coach works cooperatively with coaches, principal, athletic director, teachers, students and the community. The requirements for this positions are below :
- Must have a valid teacher's license, all endorsement areas will be considered.
- Must have a CDL or be actively able to obtain one within the year. (required)
- Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.
- Must be able to develop players (experience preferred) and teach fundamentals to new or experienced recruits.
- Must champion academic excellence and student achievement to coexist with athletics.
- Demonstrated experience of motivating and inspiring students, giving consideration for such traits as : integrity, sportsmanship, character, community service and civic engagement.
- Must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.
OTHER DUTIES : Performs all other duties as assigned.
REPORTS TO : Building Principal or designee.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :
The salary will be determined by the number of years' experience and length of contract shall be 187 days unless changed by the school board.
