What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Employee position at Marshall Farms?
Description
Don't want to stand behind a counter taking orders, or be stuck inside on a boring assembly line? Our students are hard-working, independent workers up on their feet! You'll play an important role in the operations of the company because your work helps ensure the health and safety of our animals. We need people who have a fine attention to detail and care about the facility and the welfare of the animals. Our students perform a variety of functions like cleaning cages; but you also get to move animals from one building to another using a "buggie" transport vehicle.
The shift is primarily 3- 6pm when school is in session, and 630-930am Saturdays.
Pay rate for student positions is $16.50/HR - NEW UPDATED RATE!!
Requirements
We are looking for people who can handle the physical requirements of lifting, cleaning and basic health and who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty to play a key role in animal welfare. Good communication and organizational skills are essential as well as the ability to work independently or with others.
