Your Role:

The Revenue Specialist will play a significant role in ensuring our Firm’s financial health by optimizing revenue-generating processes. This person will assist with and coordinate collections for the Firm of approximately 250 staff and legal professionals, collaborating closely with partners and clients to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions. The Revenue Specialist will be an instrumental business partner and assist with leading initiatives in revenue management, related financial reporting and process improvements. As a valued member of our finance team, the Revenue Specialist will report to the Revenue Manager and contribute to the Firm’s strategic direction.

Your Impact:

  • Revenue Management: Work directly with partners and clients to collect firm invoices and maximize revenue. Work with Revenue Manager to develop strategies on collection and customize for various client situations.
  • Collaboration & Team Support: Partner with legal professionals and others in Accounting, especially the billing function (team), to maximize revenue collection. 
  • Process Optimization: Identify, design, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in revenue tracking and collections.
  • Compliance Expertise: Ensure compliance with regulations related to Collections.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced Excel tools and financial software systems to deliver accurate reporting and improve decision-making processes and collection strategies.

YOUR SKILLS:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Preferred:

  • Law firm experience
  • Revenue management and collections experience
