Position Overview :
The firm is looking for a skilled Civil Defense Litigation Attorney to work remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas :
Insurance Defense
Construction Litigation
Employment Law
Bodily Injury Defense
This position offers the flexibility of remote work, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to handle complex and impactful cases.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage a caseload of civil defense matters from inception to resolution.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice.
Qualifications :
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense, construction, employment law, or bodily injury defense.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity and responsiveness.
