Title: AR Specialist
Location: Manhattan – Hybrid
Experience level: 3 years of AR experience
Compensation: $75K-$85K – very strong additional benefits
Summary
As our company continues to grow and expand, we need to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring that we record revenue timely and accurately, manage customer accounts, and monitoring our cash inflows.
Responsibilities
- Issue and submit sales invoices to customers
- Daily posting of cash receipts to customer ledgers
- Apply cash receipts from customers
- Issue Sales Credit Memos to customers
- Review AR Aging to monitor customer balances
- Reach out to customers with past due balances
- Send customer statement of accounts
- Deposit of any checks received
- All AR related tasks during monthly closings
- Assist in the write-offs of uncollectible receivables
- Maintain records for each customer as it relates to accounting contact, invoice
- submission, and sales tax exemption certificates
- Ad Hoc requests as it relates to AR
Qualifications
- 3 years of proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Navision a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience working with international teams a plus
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
