What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Representative - HIMG CBO (Full Time) position at Marshall Health Network?
Under the direction of the MHN Director of Ambulatory Revenue Cycle or authorized designee, the Accounts Receivable Representative is responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
Education Requirements :
High school graduate or equivalent required. Business training, computer training, CPT / ICD training and medical terminology preferred.
Experience :
Two (2) years of experience in the medical field. Proficient with Microsoft Office and physician practice management applications.
Certifications / Skills :
Speed and accuracy in typing. Good math skills. Excellent oral and written communications, ability to deal with medical center staff and public. Ability to perform a variety of duties.
