What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer position at Marshall Health Network?
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Casual Athletic Trainer .
Duties during the school year would include, but not limited to the following :
- Management of the daily operations of athletic training rooms as available
- Developing, tracking, and appropriate documenting rehabilitation programs
- Evaluation & appropriate documentation of injuries
- Referrals to appropriate physicians
- Equipment upkeep (e.g. modalities and rehabilitation equipment electrical safety)
- Inspect equipment regularly
- Schedule yearly safety / electrical check
- Manage expendable supplies

Game coverage
Must comply with state and national OSHA regulations
Devise appropriate coverage protocols
Experience :
Qualifications : Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers and WV Athletic Trainer License Eligible through the WV Board of Physical Therapy. Experience with collegiate and high school athletes is preferred. This position will report to the Sports Medicine Coordinator.
