Rivers Health is seek a fulltime CMA / RMA for our Gastroenterology department. They will
assist the provider with treatment of patients in the office, handles administrative and nursing duties related to patient care. To maintain high quality of care within an office setting.
EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING :
Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant Program. Must hold an active certification.
WORK EXPERIENCE :
One year's experience preferred in a provider office or hospital related area working with direct patient care.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing coordinate, motivate and collaborate with others. Must be able to effectively recognize the unique needs of patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents and geriatrics. Must be able to prioritize and delegate effectively. Must be able to judge and problem solve based on situational assessment. Must possess good inductive and deductive reasoning skills.
