Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time MRI Supervisor for our Radiology Department.
Under the direction of the Assistant Director and / or Radiology Director, is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all MRI activities. Trains and directs MRI staff to ensure the quality of services rendered is acceptable. Confirms orders, documents, medical necessity, and pre-authorization on all MRI orders. Performs wide variety MRI / MRA procedures to help diagnose physical and physiological disorders. Operates a variety of MRI scanners and applies a wide range of medical software and imaging techniques to produce anatomical and functional imaging. Adheres to established scanning protocols.
Education :
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Junior College / Technical School is required
- ARRT Certification in Radiography is required
- ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance is required
- WV Medical Imaging License is required
- CPR is required
