Radiology Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at the Gallipolis Office. The ideal candidate will have experience performing general radiology examinations, CAT scans, and mammography examinations on patients according to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiology examinations, CAT scans, and mammography examinations on patients according to policy and procedure.
- Coordinate scheduling, transportation, and scanning of patients.
- Lift, move, and transport patients via wheelchair or cart.
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and equipment.
- Order supplies used in the operation of assigned areas.
- Follow safety and infection control policies of the department and hospital.
- Take call as scheduled.
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program.
- Meet registry requirements by the ARRT and be licensed by the state of WV.
- Ability to meet appropriate departmental training and testing for each respective area within 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
