St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a casual Ultrasound Tech.
Under the direction of the physician or authorized designee and with clinical supervision from the physician, the primary purpose is to perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative, in the performance of diagnostic ultrasound studies.
EDUCATION :
Bachelor degree preferred. Graduate of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
Holder of a valid and current : Registration by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical
Sonographers in OB / GYN. Certification required.
EXPERIENCE :
Two years OB / GYN experience as Diagnostic Medical Sonographer desired.
SKILLS :
Ability to use a variety of ultrasound producing detection, recording devices and mechanical
accessories. Ability to use computers. BCLS required.
